Stakeholder engagement is embedded into every team and area of work in SONI, and with six years to go until 2030, we believe now is the time to redouble our efforts with our stakeholders to foster the close collaboration required to achieve our collective renewable energy ambition. That is why we have commenced work to develop SONI’s first public Stakeholder Engagement Strategy.
Noting the importance of meaningful, consistent engagement, we are seeking the views on the development of SONI’s first public Stakeholder Engagement Strategy. The Strategy, underpinned by annually published action plans and supported by an evaluation framework, will cover the remaining years of SONI’s existing Strategy 2020-2025 and Price Control.
SONI would welcome the view of our stakeholders in the following areas:
The experience of your organisation engaging with SONI;
The proposed structure and timescales of SONI’s Stakeholder Engagement Strategy;
SONI’s proposed model including:
principles of engagement;
stakeholder groupings;
our approach to planning and delivery stakeholder engagement and;
the categorisation of different approaches.
Our approach to the associated evaluation framework;
Your suggestions on the specific thematic areas SONI’s stakeholder strategy should consider e.g. security of supply, Energy Strategy targets.
Any specific strategic stakeholder activity you believe we should consider;
Any other best practice approaches you believe we should consider; and
Any other suggestions you may have.
